FLIR to Present Sunrise Session at IAFC Hazmat 2017

FLIR is sponsoring a Sunrise Session at the IAFC Hazmat Response Teams Conference on Friday, June 16, 2017 – 7:00 am to 7:50 am titled “What’s in a name? Ten Step Field Method for Chemical ID.” 

In this Sunrise Session, Grant Coffey, a retired Portland Fire & Rescue Hazmat Team Coordinator and CBRNE expert of nearly 40 years, will introduce the PRIMED approach to on-scene chemical response. He will walk participants through the “Ten Step Field Method for Chemical Identification” and provide a field guide for participants to take home. To close the session, Grant will share the top 10 mistakes responders can avoid at a HAZMAT incident.
